Waiver Services
Capital Care Inc. is an approved provider under DC's Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Medicaid Waiver. We provide a range of waiver-funded services designed to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (ID/DD) live, work, and thrive in the community.
As a Residential Services Administration (RSA) provider, we specialize in placing people with ID/DD into meaningful, paid employment in the community. Our employment specialists work closely with individuals, employers, and case managers to ensure successful job placement and long-term retention.
What This Service Includes:
- Supported Employment — job development, placement, and coaching
- Employment Readiness — skills training and job-seeking support
- Prevocational Services — work-readiness activities and skills building
- In-home support and daily living assistance
- Community integration and social participation
- Coordination with DDA case managers and families
- Medicaid-funded — no out-of-pocket cost for eligible individuals
